
This event will be hosted at the Festival Plaza campus of Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia. It is a seminal event for the Software-Defined-Radio community in Australia and the region. This workshop integrates scientific, academic, industrial and defence applications, fostering collaborations across various fields within the GNU Radio community.

What to Expect
The Australian GNU Radio Days '25 workshop caters to a diverse audience, including seasoned developers, newcomers, and users looking to use software defined radios to their specific signal-processing or feedback control challenges.
- Hands-on Tutorials & Guided Block Developments tailored for both users/non-developers and developers, covering:
- Common Concepts, General Use, and Applications
- Real-Time Signal-Processing
- Developer-Centric Learning: Advanced training on integrating and extending GNU Radio, applying learned concepts in a practical setting.
- Introduction to GNU Radio, how to integrate, basic signal flow
- Timing and Synchronisation Integration
- Classified Day: GNU Radio session specialising in the use of GNU Radio in the defence and security domain. NOTE: This session will require proof that you hold the relevant security clearance.
- Networking & Connect with professionals from industry, academia, and government organisations, fostering collaborations and community building.
Call for Contributions
We invite contributions from academic researchers, RF and signal-processing engineers, enthusiasts, industry, and defence professionals engaged with the GNU Radio open-source infrastructure. See dates below.
- Contributed Talks: Share your research, case studies, https://events.gnuradio.org/event/23/abstracts/#submit-abstractand innovative applications of GNU Radio in your fields (20 minutes per talk + 10 minutes for discussions).
- Tutorials : Showcase practical applications and demonstrations of GNU Radio technology.
- Hands-On Demonstrations: Provide interactive development and demonstrations of GNU Radio technology.
We encourage submissions highlighting collaborative efforts, cross-disciplinary approaches, and innovative uses of GNU Radio. Please submit your abstracts through the Indico portal here or below.

- Call for Contributions: opens soon, we invite submissions for contributed talks, and presented and hands-on tutorials. This is an excellent opportunity to present your projects and research to a like-minded audience.

- Registration: opens April 2025
- Registration Deadline: 15th August 2025 (number of participants will need to be limited).

Cost:
$250 AUD per attendee,
$100 AUD student attendee (must use accredited educational email when registering)
Sponsorship Registrations
Bronze sponsorship $500: it includes advertisement of their company on the conference website and relevant statement of sponsorship.
Silver sponsorship $1000: it includes what Bronze gets, and plus registration of one delegate and they can have an SDR-related presentation.
Gold sponsorship $1500: it includes what Bronze and Sliver get, and plus a stand to advertise.
