Thank you for supporting GRCon26, the annual event for the Free and Open Source Software Defined Radio Community! This event could not take place without our generous sponsors. The event will take place Monday Sept. 21 through Friday Sept. 25, 2025.
This document provides information regarding your benefits at GRCon26. For assistance with any of these items or for answers to any questions, please email 'sponsor@gnuradio.org'.
The Conference will be operating in the US Eastern Daylight Timezone. Timezones are being specifically noted as frequently as possible, but any unspecified time should be assumed to be in EDT (UTC-4).
Sponsor Talk (Full or Lightning)
The prime focus for many attendees is the Main Track talks which are running Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Friday will be an offsite demo to the AERPAW testbed. The schedule for the week is on the Schedule page.
The Main Track content also will be livestreamed on YouTube on the GNU Radio channel.
Please let us know as soon as possible the title and duration of your sponsor talks. Lightning talks do not need to be given a title, but please confirm your intention of giving the lightning talk. These will be done during Lightning sessions in the main ballroom.
Sponsor Slides
Sponsors may submit widescreen slides (standard 16:9 aspect ratio) for inclusion with the program. During the scheduled breaks and lunch each day and during gaps between talks we will be showing the slides submitted by sponsors. All submitted slides are combined and shuffled randomly before displaying, so slides should be stand-alone (not in a sequence). Each slide is displayed for about 12 seconds. The entire deck loops on repeat.
The allocation of slides is by sponsorship level:
* 5 slides for Diamond, 3 for Platinum, 2 for Gold, and 1 for Silver
Slide properties shall be:
- 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, 1920x1080 resolution
- Exported as images (preferred) or PDF
- Static (no animations or audio)
Please send your slides to sponsor@gnuradio.org by Monday September 7. If you have slides which you would like to have included only after a certain presentation or day of the conference, please let us know.

Blog Post
The GNU Radio homepage is visited heavily by professionals and enthusiasts looking for SDR content and our blog is an opportunity to highlight your organization, products, and services in a prominent position.
For Diamond and Platinum sponsorship levels, we will feature an article written by you permanently in our blog. We can either host the article directly on the site, or include a title and link to a page on your site. These articles are a great way to generate excitement and interest in your participation in the conference or highlight a product release so we offer the flexibility for you to have the article posted at any time in 2026.
We require about four days advance notice of when you would like to have the article or link published. We will provide you with a preview of how the article will appear on the site.
There is no minimum or maximum length for the article, although previously submitted articles have been in the range of 500 to 1000 words.
Student Sponsorship
If you’ve chosen to support our student attendees we want to say a particular "Thank You". GNU Radio as a project has a core goal to promote signal processing, radio technologies, and open source software practices for students and to enable educational opportunities wherever possible.
We collect the resumes of all student attendees and will be sending you an archive of those resumes a few days before the start of the event, and then again after the close of the conference if there are any additional resumes submitted.
During the event, if you choose, you will be invited to a dedicated chat room along with the students. We can also send a message from you to all registered students if you would like (we can send it during or after the event depending on your preference).
Chat Rooms
Much of the value of the GNU Radio Conference is in the interactions between all participants of the event, both in-person and virtually. Since hosting GRCon virtually in 2020, we have maintained the strong core focus on supporting these interactions as much as possible.
The conference will make heavy use of the “Matrix” chat system which is used year-round for GNU Radio development and community discussions. There are rooms for General Chat, discussions and Q&A for Main Track talks, and topical breakouts.
